Message for Parents & Students

Is your middle schooler interested in attending Breakaway 2025? We hope so! This annual fall retreat is one of the most meaningful and fun-filled events for youth groups across the region.

Over the course of one incredible weekend, students enter into an energetic community grounded in faith. They’ll meet new friends, draw closer to God through uplifting worship, consider Biblical insights from our speakers, and return home with memories to last a lifetime.

Breakaway 2025 takes place September 26–28 at the scenic NorthBay Adventure Camp in North East, Maryland.

Each church and youth group will set their own price for attending, based on travel and logistics. If your student would like to attend but is not connected with a church group, please reach out to megan@infaith.org so we can work with you directly.

What to Expect

• Kayaking & bay sports
• Beach volleyball & group games
• Ziplining & adventure elements
• Rock climbing & campfires
• Worship & Biblical teaching
• Music, small groups, and free time to connect

Packing List

Clothing:

• T-shirts, jeans/pants, pajamas
• Sweatshirt/jacket for cool evenings
• Sneakers or closed-toed shoes
• Sandals/flip-flops for showers

Bedding:

• Sleeping bag or twin sheets & pillow
• Extra blanket if desired (one blanket is provided)

Toiletries:

• Toothbrush, toothpaste
• Soap, shampoo, deodorant
• Brush/comb
• Towel and washcloth
• Shower shoes (flip-flops, optional)

Other Essentials:

• Bible, journal, pen
• Water bottle
• Sunscreen
• Flashlight
• Any necessary medications (communicate with your youth leader)

Optional Items:

• Spending money ($10 for T-shirts and a little extra for snacks)
• Sunglasses, hat, or bandana
• Book or cards for downtime

Please keep in mind camp rules prohibiting electronics, alcohol, tobacco, weapons, and pets. Label belongings when possible. Contact your youth leader with any questions—we can’t wait to see you at Breakaway!
